First Lady of Anambra State, Dr. Mrs Nonye Soludo, Welcomes CHAPOL to the Governor's Lodge
Her Excellency, Dr. Mrs Nonye Chukwuma Charles Soludo, warmly received the Anambra State Command of CHAPOL at the Governor's Lodge, Amawbia. She commended the Command for their resilience and selfless commitment to addressing social vices in public secondary schools, and assured the Commandant that the reports presented would receive accelerated attention — the moral transformation of Anambra's children being her utmost priority.
First Lady of Anambra State Receives CHAPOL Command at Governor's Lodge, Amawbia
Her Excellency, Dr. Mrs Nonye Chukwuma Charles Soludo, First Lady of Anambra State, warmly welcomed the CHAPOL Anambra State Command to the Governor's Lodge at Amawbia on 23rd March, 2023. The State Commandant, Chaplain Dr. Joseph N. Ekwunife ACG JP, appreciated Her Excellency for the warm reception and appealed for her support in the areas of logistics and infrastructure, noting that the Command operates without any allocation or budget from the State Government.
Dr. Mrs Nonye Soludo commended CHAPOL for their resilience, unwavering commitment, and selfless sacrifices in addressing the menace of social vices in public secondary schools in Anambra State, through the campaign of values regeneration and character reformation among students. She assured the Command that the reports presented would receive accelerated attention, as the moral transformation of Anambra State children remains her utmost priority. Her Excellency was also presented with two story books on moral values — Out of the Crowd Season 1 and Season 2: Dreams — authored by the State Commandant, to aid the Command's campaign against social vices in secondary schools.
CHAPOL Pays Courtesy Visit to New Anambra State Commissioner for Education, Hon. Ekene Ogugua
On Friday, 19th June, 2026, the CHAPOL Anambra State Command paid a courtesy visit to the new Anambra State Honourable Commissioner for Education, Hon. Ekene Ogugua. The Commissioner warmly received the Command and assured of his stronger collaboration and unwavering support towards achieving the laudable initiative of the Command, which is focused on eradicating social vices in public secondary schools in Anambra State through a campaign centred on values regeneration and character reformation of the students.
The courtesy call was led by the State Commandant, Chaplain Dr. Joseph N. Ekwunife ACG JP, accompanied by Chaplain Felix Orjika, CHAPOL Awka Area Commander; Chaplain Christian Alagor, State Director for Finance; and Chaplain Ugochukwu Emeka, State Officer in charge of Administration. The 2025 11th Annual CHAPOL Conference on Moral Values Brochure was also presented to the Honourable Commissioner.
CHAPOL Visits the Palace of His Royal Majesty, Igwe Engr. Sir A.C. Emelobe CON, Igwe Oba
CHAPOL Anambra State Command paid a courtesy call to the palace of His Royal Majesty, Igwe Engr. Sir A.C. Emelobe CON, Ezeokpoko II, Igwe Oba, on Tuesday, 23rd June, 2026. During the visit, His Royal Majesty was profound in his commendations to the Command, stating that the Command's area of interest — values regeneration and character reformation of public secondary school students — is his heart's deepest concern.
Igwe Engr. Emelobe stated that the menace of youths' involvement in kidnapping, internet fraud, cult clashes, targeted assassination, and bribery and corruption cannot be fully addressed without a concerted effort to tackle social vices among youths in public secondary schools — hence his alignment with the Command's noble vision. He assured the Command of his strong collaboration and unflinching support, and went further to call on State and international donor agencies to support the organisation in achieving a society free from all forms of threats to life and properties.
The courtesy call was ably led by the State Commandant, Chaplain Dr. Joseph N. Ekwunife ACG JP. Senior Officers accompanying him included Chaplain Kingsley Nwashili DCC, Deputy State Commandant (Recruitment/Training); Chaplain Emeka Ebuzoeme ACC, CHAPOL Idemmili Area Commander; Chaplain Felix Orjika ACC, Awka Area Commander; and Chaplain Mike Ubammadu ACC, Nnewi Area Commander. His Royal Majesty was also presented with a copy of the 2025 11th Annual CHAPOL Conference on Moral Values Brochure.

CHAPOL Engages the Secretary to the Anambra State Government, Hon. Mrs Chiamaka Nnake, in Awka
Still in the spirit of engaging distinguished Anambrarians, traditional institutions, and State Government, CHAPOL Anambra State Command paid a courtesy visit to Hon. Mrs Chiamaka Nnake, Secretary to the State Government of Anambra State (SSG), on Wednesday, 24th June, 2026, at her office in the new Anambra State Government House, Awka.
The SSG warmly appreciated the Command and expressed her delight at the Command's area of interest. Hon. Nnake re-echoed the Governor's regular statements — to not only bequeath Ndi Anambra with structural developments based on his Solution mantra, but to equally ensure that the youths of Anambra State are mentally and morally equipped to manage those structural developments his administration is putting in place.
The State Commandant, Chaplain Dr. Joseph N. Ekwunife ACG, informed the SSG that the Command has demonstrated unequalled resilience, determination, and selfless sacrifice to sustain the laudable initiative for 13 years without any financial support from the State Government. He appealed to the SSG to use her privileged office to appeal to His Excellency, Prof. Chukwuma Charles Soludo CFR, to support the Command's efforts through the provision of operational vehicles and funding — to enable them effectively cover the 274 public secondary schools in Anambra State where they teach, counsel, and mentor students on values regeneration and character reformation.
The Commandant was accompanied by Chaplain Okey Belonwu DCC, Deputy State Commandant (Operations/Intelligence); Chaplain Mabel Ezeokonkwo DCC, Deputy State Commandant (Administration); Chaplain Christian Alagor ACC, State Director for Finance; Chaplain Felix Orjika, CHAPOL Awka Area Commander; and Chaplain Victor Jonah, Command Media Department. The SSG was also presented with the 2025 11th Annual CHAPOL Conference on Moral Values Brochure.
